Alan Alda is an actor, director, screenwriter, and comedian whose career spans stage, film, and television. Best known for his iconic role as Hawkeye Pierce on M*A*S*H, for which he won five Emmy Awards, Alda has also appeared on Broadway and in more than 30 films over the past 50 years. This lecture explores his remarkable career and the inspiring work he has done in support of women’s rights and education.
