2D GAMES WITH CONSTRUCT 3

Use web based software, Construct 3, to create a 2D platform game -no prior knowledge or coding experience is needed. Participants will learn a wide variety of skills like creating a pixel character, building levels, and creating custom sound effects using free online tools. At the end of the session, attendees will leave with a copy of their game which they can play or continue to develop at home. Students must bring their Chromebook in order to participate in this program.

Open to residents in SD #21 ONLY. Register in the Children's Room or online with your Bethpage Public Library Card.

Please Note our Registration/Attendance Policy:

• Children must have their own library card to register for a program. You can apply for a library card in-person or online at Apply for a Library Card Online HERE!
• Reminder: Please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to make a program.
• Repeated absences without notification will cause registration for subsequent programs in the following newsletter to be added to the waitlist rather than the main list.
• Waitlist does not guarantee admittance.
• Patrons on a waitlists will be notified as cancellations are made in advance of the program.
• Waitlist on day of program: Priority, based on arrival time will be given to online wait listed patrons. Walk-ins will be added to the existing wait list based on a first-come-first-basis.
• Latecomers: Reservations will be held for 5 minutes after start time unless you have called in advance.
• Caregivers are required to remain in the Library at all times while their children are attending programs.
