Shipwreck Secrets

Step into the role of a maritime archaeologist! Discover the tools scientists use to map underwater wreck sites and preserve treasures from the crushing pressure of the sea. Build your own haunting shipwreck model with aged details and wood to capture the spirit of a lost voyage!

Open to residents in SD #21 ONLY. Register online with your Bethpage Public Library Card.

Please Note our Registration/Attendance Policy:

• Children must have their own library card to register for a program. You can apply for a library card in-person or online at Apply for a Library Card Online HERE!
• Reminder: Please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to make a program.
• Repeated absences without notification will cause registration for subsequent programs in the following newsletter to be added to the waitlist rather than the main list.
• Waitlist does not guarantee admittance.
• Patrons on a waitlists will be notified as cancellations are made in advance of the program.
• Waitlist on day of program: Priority, based on arrival time will be given to online wait listed patrons. Walk-ins will be added to the existing wait list based on a first-come-first-basis.
• Latecomers: Reservations will be held for 5 minutes after start time unless you have called in advance.
• Caregivers are required to remain in the Library at all times while their children are attending programs.
