Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is the process through which all children and adults understand and manage emotions, feel and show empathy, achieve personal goals, develop and maintain relationships, and make responsible decisions. Focusing on SEL skills at an early age helps set children up for success in school and in their future relationships.
Megan Ryan, clinical social worker and owner of Caring Cubs Inc, is passionate about teaching children fundamental social and emotional skills. Her classes put an emphasis on age appropriate learning and social interactions through story time, interactive play, and engaging songs.
