Travel back in time to ancient Egypt in this fun and interactive Zoom art class! Young artists will learn about the fascinating history of Egypt and the story of King Tut—the famous boy king who became ruler at just 9 years old. Step-by-step, students will draw their own portrait of King Tut alongside Art Teacher Amy, adding bold details and vibrant colors to bring their artwork to life. Along the way, kids can ask questions, share ideas, and connect in a supportive and encouraging environment. Grab your drawing paper, pencil, Sharpie, and colored pencils or crayons, and get ready for a creative adventure filled with history, imagination, and fun.

Open to residents in SD #21 ONLY. Register online with your Bethpage Public Library Card.

Please Note our Registration/Attendance Policy:

• Children must have their own library card to register for a program. You can apply for a library card in-person or online at Apply for a Library Card Online HERE!
• Reminder: Please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to make a program.
• Repeated absences without notification will cause registration for subsequent programs in the following newsletter to be added to the waitlist rather than the main list.
• Waitlist does not guarantee admittance.
• Patrons on a waitlists will be notified as cancellations are made in advance of the program.
• Waitlist on day of program: Priority, based on arrival time will be given to online wait listed patrons. Walk-ins will be added to the existing wait list based on a first-come-first-basis.
• Latecomers: Reservations will be held for 5 minutes after start time unless you have called in advance.
