Financial Literacy Workshops with the Financial Freedom Initiative
Wednesdays September 2 and 9
6:00 PM | Grades 6 - 12 | In-person
The Financial Freedom Initiative (FFI), a student-led organization, is hosting a financial literacy workshop series for students ages 10–18 (grades 6–12). Attendees will learn the fundamentals of saving, budgeting, credit, and debt — the building blocks of smart money habits that often get overlooked in the classroom. Sessions are interactive and designed to give young people practical, essential knowledge in a friendly, approachable setting. After a quick refresher on saving, budgeting, credit, and debt, we'll go further into the topics that prepare students for real-world money decisions. Whether students joined us for Part 1 or are coming for the first time, they'll leave with new tools and a stronger handle on personal finance.
